1. Our Services
We are a travel agency and tour operator offering tour packages for Kashmir, Leh-Ladakh, and Jammu-Katra, along with houseboat and hotel bookings, transport and cab services, sightseeing, and related travel arrangements. We act as an agent for hotels, houseboats, transport operators, airlines, and other independent suppliers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. The person who makes the booking is responsible for all travellers in the group, including payment and following these terms.
3. Bookings and Pricing
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are per person or per package as stated.
- Prices are subject to availability and may change because of fuel prices, taxes, government levies, or seasonal rates until the booking is confirmed.
- Applicable taxes, including GST, are charged as per government rules.
- Package inclusions and exclusions are listed in each itinerary and booking confirmation. Anything not mentioned as included is excluded.
4. Payments
Payments made online are processed through PayU, a secure third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI, or banking details. Payment terms are described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Travel Documents
- All travellers must carry a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, or driving licence).
- Foreign nationals must carry a valid passport and visa. Certain areas (such as parts of Ladakh) require special permits, which we can help arrange.
- We are not responsible if a traveller is denied entry, boarding, or access because of missing or invalid documents.
6. Hotels, Houseboats and Transport
- Standard check-in and check-out times are set by the hotel or houseboat. Early check-in or late check-out depends on availability and may cost extra.
- If a booked hotel or houseboat becomes unavailable, we will provide an equivalent or better option.
- Vehicles are provided as per the package and may not be at your disposal outside the planned itinerary. In some areas (such as Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and Sonmarg), local union rules require the use of local taxis for sightseeing at an extra cost.
7. Changes to Itinerary
Itineraries may be changed due to weather, road conditions, traffic, local authority orders, or safety reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives. We are not liable for any loss caused by such changes.
8. Customer Conduct
Travellers are expected to behave responsibly, respect local culture and customs, and follow the rules of hotels, houseboats, and local authorities. We may end services to anyone whose behaviour is unlawful or puts others at risk, without refund.
9. Health and Safety
Travellers are responsible for their own health and fitness for travel, especially for high-altitude destinations like Ladakh and for activities such as trekking, skiing, pony rides, and river rafting. We strongly recommend travel insurance. Adventure activities are run by independent operators, and participation is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable care when choosing our suppliers, but we are not liable for injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or extra expense caused by the acts or omissions of hotels, houseboats, transport operators, airlines, or other third parties, or by events beyond our control. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the booking.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, belongs to Book My Kashmir Trip or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission.
12. Complaints
If you face any problem during your trip, please tell us immediately so we can resolve it on the spot. Complaints after the trip should be sent in writing to bookmykashmirt@gmail.com within 15 days of returning.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The version on this page at the time of booking will apply to that booking.
